Rose Window Jigsaw Puzzle, 500 pieces
- This round puzzle offers a 500-piece challenge!
- Finished size: 20.5" diameter.
Conceived by stained glass artist Rowan LeCompte (American, b. 1925), the window in the west facade is set ablaze by the rays of the setting sun, the striking and unusual abstract design of the window is inspired by the words of the Book of Genesis, "and the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep . . . and God said Let there be light." The center of the window has deep mysterious colors with a single piece of clear diamond-bright glass at its very center. A profusion of colors radiate from there, changing from moment to moment as the sunlight shifts throughout the day and inviting us to contemplate the miraculous unfolding of Creation.
