Rose Window Stationery Set
Washington National Cathedral's incomparable West Rose Window incorporates more than 10,000 separate pieces of glass in a composition nearly 26 feet in diameter. Installed in 1976, the beloved Creation Rose is a "hymn of praise to the universe" designed by master stained glass artist Rowan Lecompte (American, b. 1925). In keeping with the iconographic scheme of the cathedral, this Rose Window design is inspired by the words of the book of Genesis, "and the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep…and God said Let there be light."
This set includes 12 folded 3 1/2" x 5 3/4" notecards and envelopes, plus a 3 1/2" x 5 3/4" lined journal in a keepsake box.
